Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Asake, and Kizz Daniel, Nigerian music stars, secured nominations for the Best African Artist Category at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGAMs).

Other Nigerian artists who also got nominated are Omah Lay, Mayorkun, Yemi Alade, and BNXN.

Omah Lay got nominated for Best Collaboration, Mayorkun for his contribution to Camidoh’s ‘Sugarcane’ remix, Yemi Alade for ‘Dumebi,’ a collaboration with Mzvee, and BNXN for ‘Better Days’ with Sarkodie.

The VGAMs ceremony is scheduled for May 13 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC).
