Peter Obi says the phone call was manipulated.
Following the leaked phone call between labour party candidate Peter Obi and the general overseer of living faith church bishop David Oyedepo,
Labour Party spokesman Dinro Onifade has said that the tape was fake and was forged by the All Progressive Congress .
He also stated that its aim was to demarket Peter Obi and create a credibility problem for him.
This audio which surfaced online last week has generated a mixed reaction and got people talking whilst some people condemned it.
The likes of fani-kayode and festus keyamo who are also strong supporters of the all progressive Congress have also condemned Peter Obi and accused him of allegedly declaring a religious war in Nigeria.
Bishop oyedepo who was preaching on Sunday when the audio was released,
He said “I has never campaigned for any party and will never until I go to heaven he told the congregation”.
He also stated that they come to him for advice and those who takes his advice are successful.
A Twitter user The Democracy Watchman who according to them did a research on the audio and it showed that it was a 4 different audios that were put together to form the 4:17 mins audio clip.
