Nigerian Woman, 20, Shatters Language Barrier, Wins Global Award for Fluency in 11 Languages

Favour Chisimdi Nwobodo, a remarkable 20-year-old Nigerian woman, has won Global award by fluently speaking 11 foreign languages without leaving her home country.

Favour is a language prodigy and can speak fluently in Korean, Swahili, Shona, Indonesian, Filipino, Spanish, German, French, Chinese, English, and Igbo. She achieved this amazing feat without ever leaving Nigeria.

According to reports, Favour is currently learning to speak the Yoruba language, which is widely spoken in southwestern Nigeria and some other parts of Africa.

She is not only exceptional in languages but is also pursuing her dream of becoming a medical doctor.

Favour is enrolled in the University of Nigeria, pursuing a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree.

Favour Chisimdi shared that her journey to achieving her language proficiency was full of tears, worries, and doubts, but the struggle was worth it.

She marveled at her ability to impact the linguistics sector, stating that she wrote her first research article on how linguistics can help businesses thrive, which she submitted to the Harvard Business Review, an impressive accomplishment for someone so young.
