President Biden, known for his candid remarks, has once again made headlines by attributing “good sex” as the cornerstone of his nearly five-decade-long marriage with First Lady Jill Biden.

In a forthcoming book titled “American Woman – The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden,” author Katie Rogers sheds light on the president’s personal life, uncovering anecdotes that reveal the intimate dynamics of his relationship.

Rogers recounts a pivotal moment in 2004 when Biden, then a senator, considered launching a presidential challenge against former Sen. John Kerry.

Biden’s Openness About His Relationship With Jill

Despite the attention garnered by his remarks, Biden’s openness about his relationship with Jill is not new. During a 2020 appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Biden jokingly attributed his loyalty to the Philadelphia Phillies, even donning their branded hat, as a means to “sleep with my wife,” who hails from Philadelphia.

The president’s unwavering commitment to Jill was evident in their journey to marriage, marked by five proposals before she finally accepted in 1977. “I’ve been as patient as I know how to be, but this has got my Irish up. Either you decide to marry me or that’s it – I’m out. I’m not asking again,” Biden asserted on the fifth attempt, according to Rogers’ account.
